Re: Akamochi and other pet ACC food

Please don't do this. Pet jobs are already very strong, the only one that isn't is BST and honestly it needs core changes to be good, adding pet food won't bridge the gap for that job, but it will break the other two pet jobs. Agreed. I'm BST75 & SMN75, one is really good, one is really not. For th...

Re: New player which jobs are "Safe" to level

Bst has always been underpowered at the 75cap for endgame content, it’s strength comes from being able to solo some world content and certain battlefields are excellent for a bst to solo or duo. (They are quite potent in salvage however, but that’s a long way off) However dynamis, sky, hnm, have al...

Re: New player which jobs are "Safe" to level

Oh, I don't have a ton of experience with 75 BST on this server. Even HQ jug pets with familiar have low acc? That doesn't sound in-era... so maybe they do have technical problems? Now that post about pet food makes more sense. An HQ Jug pet under Familiar has 286 accuracy, otherwise they have 276~...

Re: New player which jobs are "Safe" to level

I mean the xp/hr is better than parties at that level. I use SMN myself however some BST have absolutely rocked me in DMG. There is also a pet linkshell in the works which would greatly reduce the lonely nature of BST. A lot of people don't realize that pet jobs can band together to make excellent ...

Re: New player which jobs are "Safe" to level

Above all I think you should avoid BST if your intention is to be practical and take part in group activities at level cap. Other jobs have their issues but they will eventually be addressed. On the other hand, BST isn't technically broken (at least not in a way that fixes would make it stronger), i...

Re: I would really like Lockstyle

Pleasepleasepleaseplease. It adds a new layer of interest and reason to craft, camp & buy a lot of gear which otherwise isn't that useful. It gives reasons to level other jobs and do NMs and quests that people don't normally do. And it's something people can work on in their downtime when there's no...

Re: Hi

There is a discussion on this topic here if you want to add in your 2 cents: https://www.edenxi.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1295 Removing ready in exchange for a small accuracy boost would finish this job off though. Without control over what its pets are doing it's not only an objectively bad jo...

Re: Suggestion to buff BST Jug Pets.

I very much agree with you. Except 130~200 damage? Anything from 10-65 in parties I was always doing like 20-180 max. Usually around 70-130 I would say on average using HQ pets. When I did actually land hits at least. That's generally against Dynamis trash mobs at 75 and are just ballpark average f...

Re: "Accuracy Varies with TP" weaponskills

Anyone who knows how accuracy works can see that a 0.8 modifier is nonsense. It's not the same as a -20% chance to hit. Example: you're fighting a level 82 Greater Colibri with 339 evasion and you've capped your chance to hit (95%) by building up 410 accuracy. A 0.8 modifier would drop your accuracy...
